Perform both front and back office medical assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Responsibilities include point of care testing, EKGs, medication passes, and transporting patients to testing areas.
Requires completion of a formal Medical Assistant program, certification, or two years of experience as a military corpsman. BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the AHA is mandatory.
This is a full-time benefited position that includes both front office and back office Medical Assistant duties. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, primarily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., on varying weekdays, and requires working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Experience: One year of experience as an MA in an outpatient setting Urgent Care experience
