Perform all aspects of patient care within the scope of an RN or LPN, including taking vital signs and administering injections. Coordinate clinical documentation, patient call backs, and assist physicians with medical procedures.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current Alabama license. CPR and first-aid certification are required, and previous physician office experience is preferred.
RN Education: High school graduate or GED. Graduate of School of Nursing with a minimum 2-year degree and current Alabama license. LPN Education: High School graduate or GED. Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse Program Licensure/Certification for RN or LPN: Licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing Previous experience in physician office setting is preferred but not required. CPR and first-aid certified. Must possess excellent verbal and written skills and be able to adapt to emergency situations quickly.
