The Medical Assistant supports physicians and clinicians by assisting with patient exams, procedures, and recording vital signs. They are also responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling tests, managing patient records, and arranging pre-authorizations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience, preferably in a multi-physician practice. A professional certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and CMA certification are strongly preferred.
