The Research Study Assistant implements study activities including participant recruitment, data collection, and interviews. They also provide administrative support to the Principal Investigator and collaborate with the research team.
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field is required, though equivalent experience may be considered. Experience in cancer research, public health, or behavioral science is required, and phlebotomy certification is preferred.
The Research Study Assistant will be responsible for implementing study activities including participant recruitment, data collection, conducting participant interviews and assessments, and data entry. This position will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team to successfully carry out new and ongoing studies. Other responsibilities include participating in team meetings, communicating with internal and external research team members, and providing organizational and administrative support to the PI.
