The role involves triaging emergency cases, providing critical nursing care, and managing fluid therapy and medications. Additionally, the technician monitors anesthesia for surgeries and utilizes diagnostic equipment and software for patient documentation.
Candidates must hold or be obtaining a California RVT license and have at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience. Proficiency in IV placement, venipuncture, and medical math is required, with ER or ICU experience strongly preferred.
