The RN is responsible for planning and implementing nursing care for pre-operative patients across all age groups. Key duties include managing acute pain, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN school with at least 3 years of experience and a current Texas RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for the pre-op patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care maintains compliance with professional nursing TJC, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
