The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing patients' functional capabilities and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve independence in daily living activities. They collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and educate patients and families on adaptive techniques.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a valid state license to practice. Experience working with patients with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities is required.
Description Weiser Care of Cascadia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. We are also considering an Occupational Therapist Assistant, depending on experience.

An Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of a physician. In addition, the OT must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate occupational therapy method.
