The specialist manages the stabilization of individuals and families experiencing homelessness within shelter or temporary lodging sites. Key duties include conducting HMIS intakes, performing site checks, and coordinating care for those with complex behavioral health and medical needs.
A high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of recovery from substance use or mental health disorders are required. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of healthcare experience and a Behavioral Health Technician certification.
