Requirements summary
Requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology, with a clinical license preferred and at least 2 years of mental health experience. Must possess a valid Illinois driver's license and a strong understanding of adolescent mental health and trauma-informed care.
The Therapist/Qualified Mental Health Professional will provide direct therapeutic services to youth and families, including individual and group mental health services, and crisis intervention. This position will also work closely with the program team to develop treatment plans, provide mental health assessments, and offer support and guidance to participants. The Therapist/Qualified Mental Health Professional will collaborate with the Mental Health Professional, Recovery Support Specialists and Family Support Specialists to provide direct services to clients, create treatment plans, and cultivation of partnerships with key community partners.
Salary: $50,000-$54,000
Shift: Varied, 2-3 evening nights per week required

Essential functions
Facilitates individual therapy sessions and/or family therapy sessions.
Develop and facilitate groups designed to support and educate youth.
Administers and interprets assessment instruments.
Develops treatment plan for youth/ families engaged in treatment.
Participates in regular multidisciplinary team meetings.
Creates appropriate referrals for youth and families psychological and psychosocial needs and follows-up to identify if services were accessed.
Participates in clinical supervision weekly.
Completes intakes, verifies insurance, and manages billing.
Monitor programmatic goals and outcomes continually adapting to meet or exceed them.
Responsible for the timely submission of Medicaid mental health billing
Maintains service records, database, and statistics.
Ensures that all documentation is accurate and upholds Trinity Services’ mission, values, and operational needs

Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health experience, preferably with youth and families.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent mental health.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Illinois
Attend initial and ongoing required training (provided on site)
