The CNA provides essential assistance with activities of daily living for elderly participants in various settings, including their homes and day centers. Responsibilities include supervising and assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Candidates must possess a current Colorado CNA license and have at least one year of experience working with frail, elderly, or mental health populations. Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings is required.
Founded as Boulder Hospice in 1976, TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care.
5 days per week, 40 hours total. Specific days are open to discussion.
JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a friendly and skilled CNA to join our team on a full-time schedule. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with the elderly and is flexible to providing care for patients throughout Boulder, Weld and Jefferson Counties. The CNA assists participants and/or supervises with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, and toileting) as assigned in a variety of settings including the Day Center, homes, nursing facilities, and assisted livings.
