The GI Technician provides direct assistance to physicians during gastrointestinal procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for organizing their workload to meet the clinical needs of patients and the unit.
Candidates should be high school graduates or RN school graduates with an active license and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Previous experience in GI procedure rooms, PACU, or Critical Care is preferred.

under the Director of Nursing and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the GI Tech is responsible for providing assistance to the Physician throughout the procedure.
