The Surgical Technician prepares and maintains sterile surgical fields and assists the surgical team during procedures. They are responsible for instrument sterilization, counting supplies, and ensuring the operating room is ready for cases.
Candidates must be a graduate of a Surgical Technology or Practical Nursing program or hold an Associate Degree in Surgical Technology. BCLS certification is required, and 0-2 years of operating room experience is expected.
