Responsibilities include:
Performing all responsibilities of a Diagnostic Tech I
Assisting with QA, regulatory testing, technical initiatives, and research projects
Demonstrating competency with specialty equipment including O.R. and fluoroscopy procedures
Monitoring quality control activities and maintaining advanced imaging knowledge and patient care standards
Functioning independently while supporting satellite locations and off-shift coverage as needed
Participating in system-wide standardization initiatives and protocol development with Radiologists
Assisting with the training and development of staff and student technologists
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. 2 years Diagnostic experience required. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances
ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. ARRT Certificate Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 34
