The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans. They monitor patient progress, modify plans as needed, and provide education to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requires a Master's degree, a current Florida SLP license, BLS certification, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Less than one year of clinical experience is required, with specific experience in swallow studies and voice prosthesis preferred.
The Speech Language Pathologist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Speech Language Pathologist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.
