The Pediatrician provides high-quality primary care services for infants, children, and adolescents, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. Responsibilities also involve collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams to support the health of pediatric patients.
Candidates must have an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. They should also be eligible for medical licensure in Maine and possess a valid DEA certification.
Penobscot Pediatrics is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our highly respected and well-established pediatric team in Bangor, Maine.
This is an exceptional opportunity to practice comprehensive, relationship-based pediatric medicine within a nationally recognized Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to integrated, patient-centered care. This position is planned for full-time, 40 hours per week.

The Pediatrician provides high-quality primary care services for infants, children, and adolescents within an integrated healthcare environment. Responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, patient and family education, chronic disease management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams to support the physical, developmental, and emotional health of pediatric patients.
Providers work closely with nurses, behavioral health clinicians, social workers, therapists, specialists, and support staff to deliver coordinated, compassionate care that improves patient outcomes and family satisfaction.
