The Mental Health Coordinator plans and provides non-medical clinical mental health services to inmates. This includes conducting screenings, developing individual treatment plans, and providing crisis interventions.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling and possess a valid state license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT). A minimum of five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role, is required.
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a degree in a related clinical area. Five (5) years of clinical experience which includes two (2) years in a comparable job position required. Must possess appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs. ie., LPC, LCSW, or LMFT A valid driver's license is preferred unless required by contract or applicable statute.
