The Medical Assistant supports providers by preparing patients for exams, taking vitals, and performing clinical procedures like blood draws and injections. They also manage patient records, handle medication requests, and maintain a stocked clinical environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience working in a physician's office or a similar clinical setting. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds is required.

Located in Montrose, Colorado, the Urgent Care Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the provider in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be experienced in a physician’s office or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending and lifting. This position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Must be able to use a variety of office equipment. May require working under stressful conditions.
Normal office and exam room environment. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, insurance companies, labs, hospitals and other members of the public on a regular basis. The position may cause exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
As needed - the Urgent Care hours are 8am-8pm 7 days per week.
2 shift minimum per month if offered to maintain PRN status.
