Must be a U.S. citizen and a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program with a current unrestricted license. Requires BLS certification and at least one year of LPN experience in an outpatient or acute care setting within the last two years.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient Clinic | Government Contract Location: Branch Health Clinic Boone Job Type: Full-Time | Contract Schedule: Flexible Days/Extended Hours (Weekends Included) Position Overview We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic setting at Branch Health Clinic, Boone. This is a mission-essential role supporting military healthcare operations in a structured, team-driven environment. Schedule & Work Hours Clinic Hours: Monday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Flexible scheduling based on clinic needs Weekend and holiday shifts may be required Clinic remains open on select federal holidays (MLK Day, Presidents Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day) No telework – onsite clinical role only
Education: Graduate of a State Board-approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military training Experience: Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in an outpatient, ambulatory, or acute care setting within the last 2 years Licensure: Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (any U.S. state/territory accepted) Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care following established clinical protocols Triage patients, take vital signs, and document medical histories Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments Assist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing Monitor and document patient status, reporting any changes Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care instructions Support clinic workflow, patient throughput, and care coordination Work Environment & Expectations Fast-paced outpatient clinical setting Collaboration with physicians, RNs, and care teams Use of electronic health records and clinical systems Mission-essential role supporting military readiness Why Join Us?
