Description Orthodontic Assistant – Join Our Team! Meyer Dana Orthodontics is looking for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! We are a fast-paced, multi-location orthodontic practice committed to providing exceptional care and creating confident smiles. This position plays a key role in creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting our doctors and clinical team.
Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas Take digital X-rays, photos, and impressions/scans Place and remove orthodontic appliances as directed Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care Ensure patient charts and clinical notes are completed accurately Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for patients and families
Dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate! ) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
