Operates an echocardiogram machine to record cardiac functions under the supervision of a Cardiologist. Performs transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography assessments as needed.
Requires an A.S. degree or certification and RDCS or RCS registration. Must have CPR certification and 12 months of full-time clinical cardiac ultrasound experience.
Under the general supervision of a Cardiologist, and according to previously defined procedures, operates an echocardiogram machine to record cardiac functions. In addition, performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms when needed. Performs stress echocardiography assessment when needed.
Certification or A.S. degree from accredited institution, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI is required. CPR required..
Twelve (12) months of full-time clinical cardiac ultrasound experience.
