The Registered Nurse is responsible for executing the full nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, and planning for emergency room patients. They coordinate patient teaching and safety initiatives while maintaining professional nursing standards and leadership within the health team.
Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license (Virginia or Compact), and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A minimum of two years of RN experience is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
