The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist fills medication orders, monitors patient therapies, and provides drug information. They also supervise support personnel and may assume pharmacy manager duties when necessary.
A B.S. in pharmacy is required, with a PharmD and PGY1 residency preferred. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio and possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
UC Health is hiring a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy Department at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center. We are offering a $20,000 sign-on Bonus. Clinical staff pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies, provide drug information, and supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a clinical staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
This position will join four other Malignant Hematology/BMT Clinical Pharmacy Specialists that spread their time between inpatient and outpatient/ambulatory practice sites. Please come join our growing Team!
