The Program Therapist provides clinical screenings, assessments, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for incarcerated individuals within a diversion program. Responsibilities include conducting mental health evaluations, leading group treatments, and coordinating discharge planning with the Department of Corrections.
A Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related mental health field is required, along with a valid license such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility with strong clinical assessment skills.

Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services for Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Dallas, the Program Therapist will provide quality therapeutic mental health care to incarcerated individuals who need and/or want services. This position is responsible for providing assessment and counseling services to inmates in the diversion program.
