Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including those recovering from open-heart surgery and advanced heart failure. Manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems and mechanical circulatory support devices while collaborating with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team.
Requires a BSN (or current enrollment) and a valid Washington, D.C. RN license. Candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time critical care experience and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including post-operative cardiac surgery and advanced heart failure cases.
Serve as an advocate for patients and families, providing education, emotional support, and clear communication throughout the care continuum.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
