Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Residential Group Home Services The Arc of Ocean County is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing support within residential group home programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Ocean County. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the health, safety, and quality of life of the individuals we support. The LPN functions as a licensed nursing professional within the agency and may provide services across multiple residential locations as needed. Responsibilities may also include assisting individuals during medical appointments, hospital visits, and admissions to nursing or rehabilitation facilities when higher levels of care are required.
Location: Brick, New Jersey Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday through Saturday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Pay Rate: Starting at $35.60 per hour Additional Compensation: Shift differential opportunities available, adding an additional $2.00–$4.00 per hour depending on shift assignment Essential Responsibilities Provide nursing support and oversight to residents within residential group home settings under the direction of the agency Registered Nurse. Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of individualized healthcare services. Gather and maintain health histories, medical documentation, and medication administration records. Monitor residents’ medical conditions and communicate changes or concerns to appropriate staff and healthcare providers. Collaborate with program leadership and interdisciplinary teams to address the ongoing healthcare needs of individuals served. Support residents during medical appointments, hospital stays, and related healthcare services when necessary. Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive residential environment for all individuals receiving services. Ensure compliance with agency standards, medication protocols, and applicable healthcare regulations. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is welcomed, but not required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. Must possess and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as an LPN required. Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing required, with no more than five (5) points.
