Perform routine computed tomography examinations following established protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering contrast, and documenting studies in EMR/PACS systems.
Requires a degree from an accredited imaging or radiology program and BLS certification. Depending on the level, candidates need between 0 to 5+ years of experience and ARRT certification.
Adult CT Technologist - Nights (3x12 hr shifts) Department: Adult CT Scan
Foundational knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, basic radiologic technology concepts, and CT‑related terminology. Applies core CT theory, practices, and techniques to perform examinations and complete basic post‑processing, analysis, and documentation with general supervision or assistance. Communication skills to exchange basic information with patients, families, and team members. Ability to prioritize and complete assigned clinical and non‑clinical work tasks with guidance and direction, progressively developing independence in managing routine responsibilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain composed in stressful situations with guidance and support, progressively developing effective coping and prioritization skills. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Knowledge of and ability to apply HIPAA guidelines and standards. Ability to work as part of a diverse team and communicate effectively with others. Displays consistency and dependability by reporting to work as scheduled. Ability to be sensitive to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
