The LNA provides direct and indirect patient care, including activities of daily living and technical procedures, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are also responsible for documenting patient status and maintaining a clean, safe care environment.
Candidates must possess a current New Hampshire State LNA license and AHA Basic Life Support certification. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with proof of LNA education and competency testing.
Summary Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients, from simple to complex, for the specialty population on the unit or department, under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse. Education High school or equivalent (GED) preferred.
