The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing various blood-drawing techniques and collecting specimens for laboratory procedures. Additional duties include processing and labeling samples, maintaining supply inventory, and interacting with patients to explain procedures.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and either a Phlebotomy Certificate, state licensure (MA/LPN/RN), or at least one year of related experience. A minimum of three months of practice in a clinical or laboratory setting is required if not certified.
