$26 - $35 / HOUR
Provide compassionate support and connect vulnerable individuals in the Native American community to essential mental health and substance use services. Facilitate access to resources and maintain comprehensive clinical records through detailed documentation.
Requires a high school diploma and 2-3 years of clinical or mental health experience, with an associate degree preferred. Must possess a valid California Driver's license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain Community Health Worker certification within one year.
Ability to author assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and correspondence. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills in building relationships and verbal communication. Ability to speak effectively before groups of community/tribal members, interdisciplinary staff, and employees of an outside agency. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Maintain the client’s comprehensive clinical record through detailed documentation. The employee must maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the varying needs of patients. Must maintain a valid, unrestricted California Driver’s license, be insurable under SCIHP’s automobile insurance, and meet insurance requirements regarding driver record to utilize GSA vehicles. CPR Certification Must be able to work various evenings and weekends.
