Performs a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures for patients of various ages and manages associated patient care needs. Assists in developing department systems and coordinating activities to improve quality of care within the Radiology Department.
Requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine school and certification from NMTCB or ARRT, along with a Texas MRT license and BLS. One year of hospital experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred.
Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
