The PreOp RN is responsible for conducting thorough preoperative assessments and reviewing patient medical histories. They educate patients and families about the surgical process while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with an active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications. Two years of experience in PACU or Critical Care is preferred.
