The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing into surgical procedures and supporting all departmental functions. They must maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and staff to meet safety and quality goals.
Candidates must be a high school graduate who has completed a surgical technology program and holds a BLS certification. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while working with leadership in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.
