As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during nighttime hours. Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients Perform deliveries and assist in surgical procedures as needed Conduct patient consultations and assessments Develop and implement treatment plans for patients Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality care Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Availability to work night shifts as required Prior experience in a locum or similar role is preferred
Schedule: 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week (weeknights and weekends)
Call Requirement: 3 shifts per week
Setting: 100% inpatient
Annual Volume: ~1,200 deliveries
Support Staff: OB/GYN physician, CNM, and PA
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
