The Pathologist Assistant is responsible for the gross description, dissection, and preparation of surgical pathology cases and autopsies. They also oversee the proper handling and storage of tissues while providing technical leadership and training to team members.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from a NAACLS accredited Pathologist Assistant program. ASCP PA certification or eligibility is required.
