The PTA administers physical therapy interventions and assists patients with mobility and exercise routines as directed by a supervising PT. They are also responsible for monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a safe treatment environment.
Applicants must hold an Associate's degree from a PTA program and a current PTA license in the state of practice. Current BLS/CPR certification is required, and experience in acute or rehab settings is preferred.
