Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to moderately complex patients in the Intermediate Care Unit. Responsibilities include continuous cardiac monitoring, administering IV medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions.
Requires a BSN (or current enrollment) and a valid Washington, D.C. RN license. BLS certification is required, while ACLS and prior acute or critical care experience are preferred.
Patient Care: Provide evidence-based nursing care to IMC/PCU patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
