Highlights: Nebraska Medicine is offering an exciting opportunity for an Infectious Diseases (ID)-trained pharmacist to join the Nebraska ASAP (Antimicrobial Stewardship Assessment and Promotion) outreach program. This individual will work alongside the Pharmacist Program Coordinator, the ASAP Medical Directors, and the Nebraska DHHS Healthcare-Associated Infection and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) program on statewide antimicrobial stewardship efforts. We partner with our physicians, nurses and other hospital staff to provide the best Serious Medicine and Extraordinary Care available in the region. Required
Qualifications: Minimum of five years clinical practice experience in the clinical specialty or an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year two residency in the specialty required. Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required. Licensed in the state of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted upon start or transfer required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice required.

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one or year two residency as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
