The Medical Social Worker manages a group of patients, collaborating with physicians to navigate acute care episodes and ensure safe, timely discharges. They provide a full range of social work services by leveraging family, community, and government resources.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) and a current license in the state of West Virginia. At least one year of clinical social work experience in a community or hospital setting is required, along with BLS certification.
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, or work related experience, and holds a current license in the state of West Virginia. No temporary permits accepted.
Certifications in Care Management preferred, not required. BLS required.
BSW Social Worker, Licensed (BSW) Social Worker should have one (1) year of clinical Social Work experience, community bases and/or hospital based.
