The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to all ages, managing both acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Care Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning for all ages. Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and complex multi-system conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging, and specialty studies. Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and support staff. Document all patient encounters in the Athena electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Quality & Compliance Adhere to evidence‑based guidelines and clinical best practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and credentialing requirements. Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with medical assistants, nurses, advanced practice providers, specialists, and administrative teams. Attend team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education sessions. Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and patient‑focused culture. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Family Medicine residency program. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Ability to navigate EMR and modern computer programs Active or pending unrestricted Texas state license Active or pending DEA certification. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of practicing experience Experience with Athena EMR SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills. Excellent interpersonal communication and bedside manner. Ability to manage complex patients with multiple conditions. Collaborative, team‑oriented approach to patient care.
