Do you have what it takes to be a Dental Assistant

Completion of a Dental Assisting program preferred
Certification in dental assisting preferred
Ohio general operator’s license in radiology is required

A day in the life of a HSO Dental Assistant

Competently operates standard dental equipment
Correctly verifies all dental records for updates as needed
Having appropriate paperwork completed by patients
Takes patient’s vital signs and any radiographs as needed for the exam
Understands and accurately communicates instructions, information, and / or concepts according to the hygienist orders
