Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Pediatrics

This contract position is an on-site role that offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Locum Pediatrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions, contributing to the overall mission of our practice.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients Conduct thorough examinations and assessments Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients and their families Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Stay current with pediatric guidelines and best practices

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Pediatrics Valid medical license to practice in the state Strong clinical skills and knowledge in pediatric medicine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Previous experience in a pediatric practice is preferred

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts

Duties: Coverage of all admissions and rounds/care for admitted hospital patients

Support Staff: FNP

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
