Salary
$18 - $20 / HOUR
Provide one-on-one and group support to individuals recovering from substance use or mental health challenges by sharing lived experience and recovery strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help clients set goals, access community resources, and navigate the healthcare system.
Requires a high school diploma, lived experience with recovery, and a WVCBAPP PRSS certification. Candidates must also maintain current First Aid/CPR certification and possess strong communication skills.
The Peer Recovery Support Specialist will have personal experience with recovery from substance use disorders and/or mental health challenges and be able to use that experience to support and empower others in their recovery journey. This role involves providing guidance, education, and advocacy to individuals seeking recovery services, as well as fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
