The Technologist performs imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. They also maintain equipment and participate in performance improvement activities.
Candidates must be registered by the NMTCB or ARRT(N) or be a new graduate awaiting registry. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Registered by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear ARRT(N) or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry. Proof of registry must be available within 60 calendar days of graduation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
Recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
