Ocracoke Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the care team at Engelhard Medical Center in rural Hyde County, North Carolina. We provide compassionate, community-focused care in an area shaped by fishing, farming, and small-town life.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide comprehensive primary care services to all patients regardless of their ability to pay, with a strong focus on serving rural and underserved communities.

About the Role

Provide primary and preventive care to patients of all ages Flexible scheduling available based on provider preference Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Patient panel designed to support meaningful continuity of care Collaborate with experienced physicians, other mid-level practitioners, and clinical staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment Participate in community health initiatives that make a meaningful impact

Requirements

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is licensed as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure) Has experience in primary care or family practice (new graduates are encouraged to apply) Brings strong clinical skills and a collaborative mindset Enjoys building relationships with patients and colleagues
