Monitor outpatients using mobile cardiac telemetry and Holter monitors to identify and report abnormal cardiac rhythms. Communicate critical findings to providers and document all patient care actions within the EHR system.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for 2 years of cardiology experience and a certified medical program completion. NCCT, NCET, CCT, or CRAT certifications are recommended.
Schedule: Weekends
MCI is a private cardiology practice. The nature of the duties is to monitor outpatients wearing mobile cardiac telemetry monitors for abnormal cardiac rhythms, including critical or severe alerts, formalize end of summary reports, and communicate findings to the appropriate provider. Other duties and responsibilities include processing Holter monitor results. This will include communication of device information to and from all MCI clinics and providers.
Qualifications: For the position:
1. High school diploma or GED required. 2. NCCT - NCET, CCT or CRAT certification recommended. 3. 2 years of experience in the Cardiology field, preferred. 4. Preferred completion of certified medical program (LPN, MA, Telemetry, etc.)
