Administer professional nursing care to patients within the Emergency Services department. Maintain established standards of care, policies, and goals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Requires a current Alabama or multi-state RN license and certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. Prior experience in critical care or emergency room settings is preferred.

Education/Licensure/CertificationsCurrent Alabama RN license or a current RN multi-state licenseExperiencePrior critical care or emergency room experience preferred.Additional Skills/AbilitiesMust have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must have knowledge of all equipment and materials required for procedures described in the Emergency Care Center Policy/Procedure Manual and Nursing Service Procedure Manual. BCLS, ACLS, PALS and department specific competencies must be maintained. TNCC is preferred. BLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment. ACLS and PALS must be obtained within the first year of employment.
