The LPN is responsible for monitoring vital signs, medication reconciliation, and providing individualized patient assessment and care. They must collaborate with RNs and physicians while maintaining sterile medical equipment for labor and delivery procedures.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing school and licensed by the Alabama State Board of Nursing. One year of healthcare experience and BLS/NRP certifications within one year of hire are required.
