We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join the Resilience Behavioral Health team in Union, NJ. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on delivering individual and group therapy within a structured, supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical grounding, a genuine commitment to person-centered care, and the interpersonal skills to connect meaningfully with a diverse client population - including individuals managing trauma, PTSD, and developmental disabilities.
What You'll Do Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches Facilitate group therapy sessions and guide meaningful therapeutic discussions Apply knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed frameworks across a diverse client population Support individuals with developmental disabilities with awareness of their distinct clinical needs Approach gender-related concerns in counseling with sensitivity, competence, and care Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care
Required: Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field Active, independent licensure in the state of New Jersey (required) Experience providing individual and group counseling services Proficiency in facilitating group therapy sessions and therapeutic discussions Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed treatment approaches Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and address their distinct clinical needs Sensitivity and understanding of gender issues as they arise in a counseling context Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client population Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Schedule Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Evening and weekend opportunities available for additional compensation
