• A Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) offers personal care services that are part of a client’s established plans of care.
• CNA's provide services that include helping clients: Maintain their personal hygiene by assisting them with bathing, dressing, grooming etc.
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence care Assisting with transfers from the bed to a chair, and other locations Prepare meals, for those who have difficulty preparing meals themselves Besides providing personal care, a CNA/PCA helps with household chores.
• Having someone else take care of these duties gives clients the satisfaction of knowing that essential housekeeping chores will not be neglected.
• A CNA/PCA helps in this way by: Washing dishes Doing laundry Sweeping and vacuuming Dusting Making beds Preparing meals Grocery shopping Running errands when needed Most importantly, CNA/ PCA's provide the companionship many clients need to maintain their self-worth and dignity.

Requirements

Must be Certified by the state of North Carolina Weekends are required! Must have Flexible position Sympathetic to patient care Ability to read, write, and carry out directions Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and care for the physical demands of caring for a patient Car preferred but not required!
