Situated in the serene surroundings of Spanish Fork in Utah, our campus not only provide treatment but also create a nurturing home for adolescent females ages 14 to 18 and their families. Our focus extends beyond the ordinary, addressing intricate issues such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, and mental health nuances. Individual Sessions: Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being. Family Sessions: Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing. Group Therapy Leadership: Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills. Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students. Clinical Meetings and Supervision: Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance. Documentation and Charting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Family Weekend Involvement: Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process. Camping Trips: Organize and lead two-day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.
Education Required: Master’s degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Licensure Preferred: Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted. Therapeutic Passion: Committed to client growth through collaborative, team-based care. Clinical Experience: Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions. Residential Expertise: One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus. Professional Readiness: Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment; must pass a state background check. Credentialing Preparedness: Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.
